German children’s songs are an awesome way to bring friends and families of the German-speaking community together. They are easy to remember, often remain a lifelong memory and bring a lot of joy for young and old.
That’s why we approached the fantastic Christiane Ker, to start a German speaking kids’ choir in 2023.
Once a month we come together to sing German children’s songs.
It is also an occasion for children who go to one of the German schools – or who do not – to meet other German-speaking children.
For parents or grandparents, it is a good opportunity to get to know each other better over coffee and cake.
Singing can strengthen the sense of community and make you feel closer to other people. And with our small German-speaking community, this is just the right thing 🙂
